This is gonna be short and sweet. Nick Sacco has his panties in a wad. The problem is he really doesn’t know why. In his blog post at https://pastexplore.wordpress.com/2016/04/03/a-response-to-james-c-cobbs-article-on-renaming-college-campus-buildings/ he says he is fired up, ready to jump back into the fray. That would be attacking and telling lies about Confederate heritage abnd history.
This time it seems to be about a building named after Gen. N. B. Forrest. Sacco does his best to make a case against Forrest, but falls short on facts with this statement–
It’s not apparent to me that removing Nathan Bedford Forrest’s name from MTSU is going to end all classroom discussions of his legacy as a slaveholder, Confederate General, and founder of the Ku Klux Klan,
Guess what Sacco, N. B. Forrest was NOT a founder of the KKK!!!!!!!!!!! Welcome to the fray, I am gonna enjoy proving you wrong.
Founder: Confederate Civil War veterans Captain John C. Lester, Major James R. Crowe, John D. Kennedy, Calvin Jones, Richard R. Reed, Frank O. McCord
